They may be called upon to work in workshops and work with several different trades during their workday, as they evolve within multidisciplinary teams and must be very versatile. They can install and connect power lines or maintain conveyor electrical circuits. They can install, handle, repair and maintain a wide variety of electrical appliances and industrial equipment, even from the most modern automation technologies used by the mining industry, and to diagnose problems. In some cases, they are the only ones who hold the necessary certification to handle and troubleshoot certain electrical devices.Key ResponsibilitiesAssume responsibility for the efficient and timely performance of the function of an industrial electrician.
