Job Description

3D Animator Generalist (mobile games industry)We are looking for a creative and passionate individual to fill the position of Animator 3D Generalist. In this role, you will work with the most publicized childrens brands on the market. As a 3D Animator Generalist, you will be responsible for the development of our mobile games by creating environments, 3D objects, 3D models and their animations which you will follow from the conceptual phase to the final realization. You will work closely with the development team, including the Creative Director, Game Designers, Programmers, and Producers.Responsibilities:

  • Design 3D environments;
  • Design 3D objects;
  • Master animation of characters;
  • Master animation of objects;
  • Create models for different elements of the Gameplay;
  • Design textures and apply them on objects or 3D environments;
  • Create 2D art concept and object design in the style of the application;
  • Design and color the different visual elements;
  • Create the UI in 2D and 3D in static or animated;
  • Optimize, revisit, modify existing objects / models;
  • Optimize the art assets (graphic vectors);
  • Participate in production development meetings / projects;
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in art and / or 3D modeling technique or equivalent;
  • A minimum of 2 years or more of experience in a similar role in the field of mobile video game development;
  • Expert knowledge of Maya;
  • Expert knowledge of Photoshop;
  • Knowledge of After Effects software is an asset;
  • Master the design and principles of 3D modeling for video games;
  • Good knowledge of 3D animation and creation of low-resolution 3D model;
  • Strong drawing and illustration skills;
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team;
  • Time management skills; respect production deadlines;
  • Attention to details;
  • Creative, resourceful, organized and disciplined individual;
  • Adaptability and flexibility required.
