Business Overview:The Finance Regulatory Reporting IT provides services around Axiom Controller View, supporting Finance Regulatory Reporting Users community to fulfill their mandates across North America regionThe Finance Regulatory Reporting Users are responsible of the production of any Financial Regulatory Reporting required by the Regulators. Their mandate encompasses the following entities of BNPP group:

• BNP Paribas USA (Intermediate Holding Company, IHC),
• BNP Paribas CIB US Branches,
• BNP Paribas CIB Canada Branches,
• and Bank of the West

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Delivery Management

• Analyze detailed functional requirements and specifications. Create technical specification documents as required.
• Define business flows, data flows and architecture.
• Present conceptual and functional solutions to support business requirements.
• Promote dynamic and scalable solutions.
• Build data sources, data models, short-hands, portfolios, aggregations, free form and tabular reports and workflows using Axiom CV tool based on regulatory report requirements. Setup sign off functionality in adherence to regulatory filing calendar.
• Create Unix shell scripts and build jil files for job scheduling.
• Perform release planning and quality management activities including but not limited to-:
  • Troubleshooting and Performance tuning of Databases
  • Code review and release migration across environment servers.
  • Unit Testing
  • System Integration Testing and Non Regression Testing
  • Support UAT
  • Build technical design documents.
• Lead post-implementation reviews, conduct retrospectives and implement lessons learned.
• Manage to ensure that all IT deliveries are properly documented in adherence with the Bank Policies and Procedures

• Production Support

• Ensure liaison with all Stakeholders involved in the Regulatory Reports filing process, especially Finance Users, Finance COO, Data Operations and Production Support Team
• Lead production release and issue investigation, provide resolution and root cause analysis.

• Transversal Activities

• Activities pertaining to the Platform Management and Compliance obligations, including but not limited to- the following activities: Internal and External Audit Review, Axiom License, Users Access, IT Security Certificates, Risk Assessment, Data Confidentiality, Production Request
• Develop knowledge sharing session in order to deepen the team knowledge base.
• Ensure support to project related activities pertaining to infrastructure and Axiom Code.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or other relevant field.
• 10+ years of industry experience in Technology including 5+ years of in depth Axiom concepts knowledge.
• Proven experience in database Sql/Pl SQL programming version 11 and above, unix shell scripting, version control tools.
• Experience in job scheduler engines Autosys or similar and creation of jil files.
• Must have prior working knowledge of ETL concepts and tool.
• Must have experience in Axiom BAU and production support.
• Knowledge of US Regulatory Reports (FRY-9C, FRY-15, FRY-11/S, FFIEC002, FFIEC031, FR2052a, FRY-14Q, FRY-14A…) and Canadian Regulatory Reports (M4, L4, P3, A4, A2, T2…)

Nice to Have:

• Certification in AxiomSL Controller View product is optional but highly preferred.
• Experience in Axiom V10, installation and upgrade is highly desirable but not mandatory.
• Experience in 3 Tier modular client – server architecture highly desirable but not mandatory.
• Knowledge in Big Data, Cloud technology is highly desirable but not mandatory.
• Experience in data modeling/data warehousing.
• MS degree in Computer Science or relevant field.
