All qualified persons, particularly Indigenous peoples, persons with disabilities, ethnic minorities, visible minorities, women, veterans, and others who share our values and contribute to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace are encouraged to apply.Reporting to the comptroller and working closely with the Quebec accounting team, the incumbent will be responsible for routine and exceptional accounting transactions related to Red Cross activities in Quebec.As a Clerk, Accounting you will:

  • Record accounting transactions such as invoices, purchase orders, etc.
  • Prepare invoices and deposits.
  • Verify and reconcile purchase orders, delivery slips and invoices.
  • Complete filing and other accounting tasks.
  • Contact customers and suppliers for follow ups.
  • Answer calls from the reception on a rotation basis with other members of the team.
  • Process outgoing mail.
What we are looking for:
  • Completion of post-secondary education in accounting.
  • Three years of experience in a similar position.
  • Bilingualism (English-French) is required.
  • Strong knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office suite (in particular Excel and Outlook).
  • Competent and proficient understanding of Microsoft Dynamics AX is an asset.
Working conditions:
