Our bookkeeping and accounting firm is looking for a Client Service Manager to support our growth.The Client Service Manager will be the front line of communications with our small-business clients, supporting their use of technology, distributing their work to appropriate resources in our bookkeeping and accounting team, and following up with clients once work has been delivered. The position will also involve maintaining engagement letters and ensuring fees are collected through our practice management system.The successful candidate will have three to five years experience in a customer service or client management role in a financial services environment, preferably an accounting or tax firm managing multiple clients You must have experience in tax or bookkeeping, and experience with cloud-based accounting tools. If you don’t have a QuickBooks Online Certification, you should plan to have it completed prior to the interview. You must be perfectly bilingual (English and French, oral and written) to support our existing client base. If you are a CPA, that is a big plus.About us: Padgett Business Services Sud-Ouest is largely virtual, using a technology stack that includes QuickBooks Online, Dext, AutoEntry, and Karbon to deliver compliance and accounting services to our clients. We offer limited in-house payroll services, preferring to work with external payroll services for our clients.Our office is currently in Verdun, just steps from a metro station. While we offer flexible work-from-home solutions, some of our clients prefer face-to-face meetings, so there will be some office time required, but it is quite flexible.II) Duties:· Maintain regular communications with clients and assist owner in identifying issues and opportunities to be addressed;· Schedule client work, including (online) pickup, processing, and delivery of documents;· Coordinate processing of clients' work by bookkeepers and accountants;· You will process or QC some clients’ work yourself;· Manage contractors and/or employees;· Maintain engagement letters and fee collections;· Review client profitability and identify value-added services that would fit client needs;· Respond to potential new clients, and support owner’s prospecting activity;· Maintain an active lead list for future clients;· Look for process improvements that will make the practice run more efficiently;· Support business development plan.III) Reports to:· The Client Service Manager is directly responsible to the owner for business development and business management.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $42,000.00-$52,000.00 per yearAdditional pay:
