By partnering with filmmakers to unite their creative visions, with our industry-leading craftsmanship and artistry, we create characters that connect with audiences on an authentic and emotional level to bring powerful stories to life.Job DescriptionThe Crew Coordinator is involved in all aspects of the career development program (from recruitment and onboarding, through show crewing, career progression, and departure) and improve the employee experience. Your contribution will have an impact on the success and the growth of the Crew and the Studio. You’ll also gain a great amount of knowledge on all Animation specialties, working alongside all departments.We’re looking for a Crew Coordinator to support Crew Managers (CMs) in their daily activities, and act as a first point of contact for artists and X-functional teams and managers.Under the direction of the Head of Studio and working closely with HR, Production, Workforce and Recruitment, we contribute to the timely and efficient completion of the shows.Responsibilities

  • Identify vacancies and priorities to the recruitment team and support them to ensure the right candidates are hired
  • Support CMs in the process of contract extensions
  • Track the weekly needs in contract extensions (review contacts ends, manage renewals)
  • Communicate with artists and follow-up with Production and HR
  • Schedule meetings when needed
  • Mobility within the group: Coordinate process of loans/transfers from/to other Mikros and Technicolor entities
  • Key role in Onboarding/Offboarding process
  • Performance review cycle: along with each show’s supervision and production teams, conduct a high volume of performance reviews, delivering effective feedback and constructive criticism
  • Work culture & wellness
  • Promote a positive and creative culture, supporting the brand as a global industry leader in animation.
  • Actively participate in the ‘MyMikros’ initiatives, our work culture internal committee: contribute and facilitate socials, team building events, learning initiatives, promote creativity and wellness onsite and remotely.
  • Successful relationship to HR is mandatory for successful rollout.
QualificationsWe welcome entry profiles who:
  • Wish to build a career in Feature Animation and/or HR Development
  • Have experience working with X-functional teams
  • Are process and efficiency driven
  • Are detail-oriented to ensure all documents and reports are maintained at the highest level
  • Are proficient in the MS Office Suite, especially Excel, Powerpoint and Calendar, as well as the Google Suite
  • Are able to address to a high level of management in a professional manner
  • Are driven by motivating and caring for employees
  • Promote communication between colleagues for the benefit of information flow and to curb any problems that arise
  • Are fluent in English & French
Assets:
  • Proven experience in Production or HR Operations
  • Proven experience in Feature Animation, Films, Advertising, Games, Tech, or Corporate
  • Have an awareness of what Production, HR, Immigration, Recruitment and Operations functions do
  • Be familiar with the HR procedures and Quebec Immigration
  • Knowledge of scheduling software
