You’ll also be responsible to ensure the availability and the reliability of our asset’s productions environment. As part of your role you’ll also act as a facilitator and point of contact with our data warehouse internal customers. You’ll work alongside highly qualified colleagues in a team that is known for its dynamism, high performance and #FunFactor. Our team is taking advantage of the DevOps practices and is always looking for new and better ways to accelerate its transformation. We’ll need you, your personality, and your skillset to achieve our objectives.Your roleAct as a level 2 operational support to ensure our production environment availability (24h/7d)* (Databases, APIs, Microservices & batch treatments);Act as a point of contact between our internal customers and our team;Intervene and take ownership of incidents affecting our assets;Investigate and analyze bugs affecting our data;Optimize our production treatment and apply fixes to increase our asset’s performance;Understand and fix functional documents so they replicate our production environment behavior;Play a key role in our automation initiatives;Diagnose problems and implement permanent solutions that will help our team’s continuous improvement and enhance our asset’s performance.

  • Our Level 1 Support (24h/7d) is provided by one of organization’s strategic partners. In your Level 2 support role, you’ll be on call as an expert, when requested by the Level 1, on production incidents on a 24h/7d basis on a rotating schedule 1 week per month.
Key skills and requirementsMeaningful experience supporting critical IT assets;High School plus Computer Specialization and 5 years experience in Operations OR Bachelor’s degree in Software engineering, IT related field or equivalent;Advanced Data Analysis and SQL skills;Experience working with Oracle databases;Knowledge of ETL tools (DataStage), Microservices & API (Java) an asset;Basic knowledge of automated deployment solutions (Jenkins) and versioning tools (GIT), an asset;Basic knowledge of the software development life-cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodology an asset;Basic knowledge of the DevOps principles, an asset;Bilingual (French/English) required.Your benefitsUpon hiring, youll be eligible for a wide range of benefits.
