Apply now!SummaryThe AI team within SAP Customer Experience (CX) is looking for a data scientist / machine learning engineer to design, develop, and deliver automated multi-tenant artificial intelligence and machine-learning based solutions that integrate with SAP CX and e-commerce applications.The RoleYou are a new or seasoned data scientist interested in solving challenging machine learning problems on large data sets. You are a quick learner and comfortable working cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, and business users to understand business problems and collaborate with the team on a viable solution. You take ownership of a project and plan to deliver a solution in a timely manner.Responsibilites:Work with product owners to understand our existing AI applicationsWork with engineers to understand data models and study existing dataExperiment using real or synthesized data to deliver innovative AI solutionsWrite production-grade machine-learning codeCollaborate with product owners and engineers to deliver new solutions and improve the existing onesRequirementsBS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics or related fieldUnderstanding of machine learning algorithms for classification, regression, clustering, dimensionality reduction, recommendation systems, time series analysis, forecastingExperience with Python and related machine learning libraries (i.e., sklearn, numpy, scipy, xgboost, Pandas, Tensorflow, Keras, etc.)Familiarity with SQL and Unix shellFamiliarity with big cloud computing and leading cloud technologies such as GCP, AWS, Azure and related tools.Experience with classic supervised and unsupervised machine learning techniques as well as recommendation systems.Familiarity with modern machine learning techniques such as transformers, convolutional neural networks, LSTMs, and recommendation frameworks based on deep learning techniques.We are SAPSAP innovations help more than 400,000 customers worldwide work together more efficiently and use business insight more effectively.
