Job Description

DO-178 IntegratorPermanent position | Full-Time | Montreal (QC)Remote work: HybridAre you a DO-178 Integrator or would you like to become oneIf your answer is yes, it’s your lucky day as we are looking for a dynamic and talented person to join our team!What will your role beIn this project, your main responsibilities will be:

  • Perform software coding and troubleshooting in the following languages: C and/or ADA
  • Prepare unit tests on the software elements
  • Perform integration and functional tests on critical control computers
  • Review and Analyse software elements (specifications, codes, tests etc.)
  • Perform investigations on the hardware and software of critical control computers
  • Configuration management of software elements
  • Follow the DO-178B/C and DO-330, DO-331 procedures for software certification and any applicable FAA Issue Papers (IP) and EASA Certification Review Items (CRI)
  • Develop and use tools related to the application framework
  • Respect the established deadlines, costs and performances for the different projects
What qualifications are we looking forYou have:
  • University diploma in computer or software engineering
  • Experience in various software development language, especially: C, Ada, Python
  • Good programming, debugging and testing expertise.
  • Knowledge of software architecture and design (design patterns, UML, Object Oriented Programing)
  • Knowledge of formal requirements, test cases and procedures writing
  • Knowledge of Real Time embedded software certification and tool qualification (DO-178 / DO-330)
  • Knowledge of CPU and Microcontrollers architecture and configuration
  • Knowledge of model based development and code generation (as Matlab Simulink or SCADE )
  • Open mind-set, autonomous, rigor, good communication skills and good team working in a multicultural environments
Assets: 3 to 8 years’ experience in SW development, test and validation, ideally in aeronautic context (DO-178) or in a process constrained equivalent environment Why join us
