Job Description

Who we are:Nature #39;s Touch is one of the largest suppliers of frozen fruit to retailers in North America, Australia, Taiwan, and Japan. We provide a full range of products and support multiple private-label programs in addition to our own brands. We are also one of the largest buyers of fruit globally each year and continue to enjoy strong growth in this emerging category in retail.We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized HR Coordinator who will provide essential support to the HR and plant leadership teams by managing administrative duties, coordinating payroll and attendance, leading internal programs and committees, and ensuring effective communication across the plant. The role involves hands-on responsibility in employee lifecycle support, compliance, document management, and employee relations, all within a bilingual and dynamic manufacturing environment.Responsibilities:

  • Perform staffing for plant and warehouse positions, assisting managers in analyzing applications and conducting interviews. Coordinate recruitment, including posting job openings, and scheduling interviews.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Maintain the employee training register.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all employee information and records.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and company policies.
  • Assist with the onboarding process and conduct the new hire orientations.
  • Assist with the offboarding process.
  • Coordinate and lead training sessions and seminars.
  • Assist with processing payroll on a bi-weekly basis, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Prepare and distribute HR-related documents, such as offer letters, policies, and internal communication.
  • Monitor and enforce adherence to attendance policies and procedures.
  • Produce and submit reports on general HR activity.
  • Conduct investigations into employee complaints or issues and recommend appropriate actions. Assist with the disciplinary measures.
  • Act as the first point of contact of the HR department for employees.
  • Support other assigned functions and ad-hoc HR Projects.
  • Day-to-day employee and Managerialamp; Operational support.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor #39;s degree in HR, Business Administration or related field preferred, or an acceptable combination of relevant education, training and experience.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience as an HR Coordinator.
  • Knowledge of multiple HR functions and best practices.
  • Knowledge of payroll practices and experience with HRIS and payroll software and reporting (ADP).
  • Excellent communication skills in French and English (to serve our internal and external customers).
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel and Power Point.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Decision-making and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
