Our Infrastructure Architects are responsible for keeping up with the latest and greatest of these changes and using their expertise to deliver solutions that meet the needs of our customers and products.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesInfrastructure Services Solution Manager professionals are responsible for the development and marketing of IBM Strategic Outsourcing (SO) technical solutions directly to customers. By using a combination of IBM and non IBM offerings, services, labor, assets, hardware, and software products, the Infrastructure Services Solution Manager creates complex, multi-year, custom solutions and associated cost cases which meet the customer's requirements.The technical directions established by the Infrastructure Services Solution Manager are the foundation of IBM's solution and heavily influence marketing, human resource, contract and delivery strategies for the engagement. The Infrastructure Services Solution Manager is required to anticipate, create and define innovative technical solutions which match the customer's and IBM's tactical and strategic requirements. The Infrastructure Services Solution Manager owns the definition of the technical solution and is the primary source of Strategic Outsourcing technical engagement management and solution design.Works primarily with the client and Sales Opportunity Owner to obtain and understand the technical requirements. Once the requirements are know, he/she will work with other Technical Solution Architects and Subject Matter Experts to design a solution to meet the clients desired business outcomes.GTSCA2021Required Technical and Professional ExpertiseBilingual in English and French.Maintains and applies knowledge of Strategic Outsourcing technical and cost case development methodologies and techniques in at least one Strategic Outsourcing discipline and in multiple specialties (Midrange, Network, Storage, Mainframe, End User Services, Cloud, Mobility). Understands and applies local IBM delivery policies and strategies, as well as marketing, financial, human resource, and contractual policies and strategies which influence Strategic Outsourcing technical solution development. Deep understanding of SO Services. Specialize in one or more of the following technology disciplines : Red Hat enterprise/Open Stack/Virtualization/Ansible/Advisory, IBM zSeries, IBM iSeries, IBM pSeries or other UNIX technology, Intel, VMWare, Cloud Platform Computing (IBM, AWS, Azure, Google, Resiliency Services DR, Networking (PW, Gateway, NAT, vLan), Data and Data Protection. Minimum 8+ years experiance specializing in one or more of the listed technology disciplines.Preferred Technical and Professional ExpertiseGeneralization in one or more of the following technology disciplines : Red Hat enterprise/Open Stack/Virtualization/Ansible/Advisory, IBM zSeries, IBM iSeries, IBM pSeries or other UNIX technology, Intel, VMWare, Cloud Platform Computing (IBM, AWS, Azure, Google, Resiliency Services DR, Networking (PW, Gateway, NAT, vLan), Data and Data Protection.
