Most RIS integrations are done with HL7, but in some cases other standards might be used. The Integration Specialist will be the main liaison between Intelerad and the 3rd party vendor that wishes to integrate with Intelerad’s software.The Integration Specialist will also perform HL7 data migrations as required.The Integration Specialist will assist 3rd party vendors when integrating with InteleViewer or InteleConnect via theCOM interface, as well as several of the public web services provided by IntelePACS.The Integration Specialist will be involved in the following activities, amongst others:Conducting RIS integrations and data migrationsDefine and document RIS integration strategyParticipate in project scoping for PACS HL7 integration and migrationMaintain test server environmentConduct RIS integration and workflow testsProvide help to 3rd party vendors to integrate with InteleViewer via the COM API.Perform HL7 data migrations and conversions as requiredWorkflow guidanceProvide input to project managers, client success managers and sales engineering in workflow designThoroughly test workflow use cases during RIS integrationResearch, evaluate, and recommend purchasing of products and technologies that can be used in integrations.Process ImprovementContribute to the team’s toolset by identifying opportunities, improving or creating toolsParticipate in initiatives to improve operations and customer satisfactionMaintenance and monitoringExecute change management requests to HL7 interfacesBe available to work on escalated BELT integration issues (Hotseat)Participate in any project deemed necessary by the organization.QualificationsGood knowledge of HL7Understanding of IntelePACS’ capabilities when integrating with a RIS (validation, DMWL, RIS prefetching, OET, completion, ADT, etc)Good knowledge of HTMLGood knowledge of TCP/IP connectivity and methods to diagnose connectivity problemsBasic knowledge of SQLDesired:Detail-orientedAbility to work with minimal supervisionAbility to clearly communicate (written and oral)Functionally bilingual (English and French)Optional Skills:DICOMUnix or Linux (Red Hat)Java, Python & Perl programming (or willingness to learn)Sybase and/or PostgreSQLPrevious experience relating to imaging systems, radiology, or the medical industry in general.Additional InformationAll applicants meeting minimum qualifications will be required to complete a 30 minutes online assessment as part of your candidate application
