ResponsibilitiesInternship starting as soon as possibleWork EnvironmentThe opportunity we are offering is to join the Projects and Transformation Office in Montreal. You will join a team whose role is to provide an internal consulting service covering all departments of the bank. The implementation of Société Générale's transformation strategy in Canada is at the heart of our mission.Project Implementation, Process Review, Change Management, PMO, Design Thinking and Business Analysis are just a few of the areas of expertise we develop in the Montreal office.Your day to day missionYou will assist the project team in the implementation of strategic programs.SG Canada is a human-sized team, you will develop your knowledge on a wide range of functions (Operations, KYC, Finance, Legal, Risk, Human Resources, IT...) and will develop an expertise on a large project.You work within the well-defined perimeter of a project where you conduct missions in line with the internal project methodology. Very client-oriented, you regularly monitor the satisfaction of the sponsor.You assist the project managers in their missions. To carry out your mission, you will:Assist with day-to-day delivery of transformation projects for internal clients, and supporting deliverables using a variety of methodologies, technologies and toolsWork closely with internal client in understanding key business issues.Gather and analyze requirements to develop impactful recommendations and solutions.Proactively contribute to the creation of presentation materials relating to project activities for stakeholder discussions.Effectively communicate orally and written with peers within Société GénéraleProfile requiredEducation and skills:

  • Knowledge of Project methodologies.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate the results of analysis and problem solving.
  • Knowledge of investment banking products and processes is a plus.
  • Exemplary written and oral communication skills both in English and French
  • Ability to organize, monitor and prioritize workload
  • Comfortable in a world of constant change.
  • Client-oriented
You are pursuing a Business Administration or Math/Computer Science Bachelor or Master Degree in a Canadian University.You have a good level on Excel and Power Point.Would be a plus
  • Lean Six Sigma, Design Thinking Certification, Agile or other project methodologies is a plus.
