Responsibilities4 month internship starting in May 2022As part of its daily activities, the Business Intelligence Competence Center for the Americas region tends to develop various dashboarding and reporting tools to assist business teams in New York and Chicago in their decision-making.Tasks and Responsibilities :Collect needs and specify the functionalities to be implementedDevelop the necessary applications (dashboard, reports, process automation).Implement, test and deliver functionalities according to our standardsDevelop/improve existing toolsIn this position, you will be supported by members of the BI Center who will be committed to providing you with the tools and advice you need to successfully complete your internship.EnvironmentVery vibrant position, many challenges for you to meetPromotion of several trainees, fostering exchange and teamworkProfile requiredSkills and Education :You are currently enrolled in your last year of a Bachelor or in a Masters degree program with a specialization in Computer Science or Engineering.A first experience in Full Stack Development and/or Business Intelligence would be appreciated.You are fluent in English and French.Required Technical Skills :Front End : Web technologies (HTML, CSS, Angular, React etc.)Back End : Python or any similar programming language (Java, C++ etc.)Data base : Oracle, MS SQL, MySQLWould be a plusKnowledge in a BI tool: Power BI, Tableau, Microstrategy etc.Knowledge in API RESTKnowledge in Unix & Windows serversFast learner: you are able to own over your work quicklyTeam player : you have a sense of responsibilityProactive: you feel comfortable taking initiativesFlexible: you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, with rapidly changing prioritiesResult-oriented and analytical : you have a problem-solving mindsetBusiness insightIn accordance with its commitment to provide a safe work environment for anyone accessing its facilities, as of November 15, 2021, under Societe Generale Canadas Covid-19 vaccination policy, only fully vaccinated employees will be allowed to come to the Montreal and Toronto offices.Société Générale opened its Canadian head office in Montreal in 1974 to offer its financial services to businesses, financial institutions and governments.
