Job Description

Our CompanyFounded in 1994, WhP has honed its localization services to match how their technology customers approach content management. Their need for omni-channel and personalized content in more languages has led us to provide high value-added localization, combining workflow and technology expertise. Our agile teams strive to optimize each project by leveraging Translation Memories, collaborative real-time project management, WYSIWYG interfaces and automated quality assurance. As our customers implement structured content and DITA, we offer them streamlined localization that optimizes workflows and reduces localization costs.We are currently looking for Localization Project Manager to strengthen our Project Management team in Outremont (Montréal), Canada.Responsibilities include:

  • understanding customer needs and accommodating client requirements to obtain total customer satisfaction
  • managing daily communication with customers and providing accurate reporting on a regular basis
  • analyzing, budgeting, project planning and following up (software, multimedia, and documentation projects)
  • managing translators, engineers and DTP resources (internal/external)
  • managing linguistic assets
  • identifying and deciding on tool/resource requirements
  • troubleshooting and problem solving
Qualification and Skills:
  • degree or diploma in Software Engineering/Computer Science and/or Language Science
  • experience in managing software, multimedia and documentation localization projects for large international accounts
  • fluency in English and French with the ability to interact with people from all over the world
  • knowledge of project management procedures and methodology
  • effective written and verbal communication skills
  • ability to multi-task
  • high standards of quality and the ability to meet deadlines
  • passion for languages and technology.
