More specifically, you will join the Music Licensing team, whose mission is to integrate the best songs and music tracks into the heart of Ubisoft experiences!With the Music Licensing Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating the acquisition of music licenses and ensure the smooth running of a wide variety of projects to meet the musical needs of Ubisofts teams.In this position, your main missions are:

  • You work closely with the game production and marketing teams to help them establish their music licensing needs and budgets;
  • You identify the rights holders of the musical works and negotiate the licenses according to the various constraints of budget, time, etc. ;
  • You ensure the management of the projects: music pitches, tracking of various approvals, negotiate business terms, recovery of assets related to the license (audio files, lyrics, credits), processing and follow-up of the contracts and payments with the stakeholders;
  • You develop trustworthy relationships with our internal (legal, marketing, production teams) and external (labels, publishers) partners and do not hesitate to suggest new ones;
  • Finally, you are on the lookout for new digital business models and propose innovative solutions!
QualificationsTo be successful in this position, you have significant experience in a similar position in the music industry (record label, music publisher, distribution, rights management), the video game industry or a similar industry (television, cinema, etc.), in an international environment.If you want to join us to take up this challenge and you recognize yourself in the following statements, then dont hesitate!
  • You have a very good knowledge and understanding of music copyright for both recording and publishing industries.
  • Thanks to your strong interpersonal and communication skills, you are able to interact well with all levels of business partners.
  • You have strong project management skills: ability to juggle simultaneous projects, provide structure and organization, and stimulate input from others.
  • You dont see problems, only solutions, and show resilience foolproof.
  • Fluency in English is a must, both written and verbal. Fluency in French is a plus.
  • Finally, if you are interested in the video games industry and production, this is a bonus!
