Job Description

The new Network Operations Center team is seeking for a Network Surveillance Technician to ensure the availability and continuity of operations of one of the largest charging station networks in North America.The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring the status of the network and taking the necessary actions to restore service. You will follow up and communicate with the various stakeholders for the resolution of the event. You will ensure that network issues are taken care of and help achieve the companys network availability goals. On top of looking after the day-to-day view of operations, you will contribute to the improvement of work processes in a constantly changing environment. You are structured, motivated and proactive and demonstrate thoroughness and rigor. You work an irregular and flexible schedule to cover operational needs.In this exciting role, at the heart of operations, your actions have a significant impact on the experience of users of electric vehicle charging stations.*BY JOINING OUR TEAM, YOU WILL BE CALLED UPON TO**Actively monitor the status of the charging station network;

  • Investigate and document anomalies or alarms detected on the network;
  • Create incident or troubleshooting tickets, prioritize and escalate to appropriate resources;
  • Ensure close follow-up on open tickets with the various stakeholders to obtain resolution in the shortest possible time;
  • Collaborate closely with the customer experience department to communicate the evolution and resolution of issues;
  • Actively participate in the improvement and evolution of internal processes.
*ABOUT YOU**Technical Diploma in electrical engineering or equivalent;
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience;
  • Experience in remote system diagnostics;
  • Ability to document the nature of the problem and the actions taken;
  • Fluent in English and French as well (speaking and writing);
  • Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders;
  • Knowledge of Office software or equivalent.
