Our Procurement team finds destination management companies (DMC) around the world who provide these services, or they source them directly. The Product team curates these product components and then weaves them together into itineraries that span varying price levels and themes.Kensington strives to surprise and delight at every turn with authentic, extraordinary, and unexpected experiences. Our brand promise - to create the experience that changes the life.Job DescriptionWe’re seeking a passionate travel enthusiast, with a strong strategic vision to head up our product management and development efforts for our Villa portfolio. Reporting directly to the Director of Yachts, the Product Manager of Villas is responsible for delivering a competitive portfolio of villas and itineraries that surpasses Kensington Tours’ brand standards with unique, inspirational and experiential Touring, services and luxury villas. Through a team collaboration, and working closely with the Director of Yachts, our supplier partners and through the performance of consistent competitive analysis, this critical management role will be responsible for the development, definition and positioning of relevant, fresh and competitive villa portfolio that match the Kensington core ultra-luxe values. You will take the lead on identifying and developing new villa product, themes and services in addition to leveraging our unlimited collection of existing services, to delight our clients, increase sales and maximize margins while ensuring speed to market.ResponsibilitiesLead the Villa sourcing & Itinerary built for Villa portfolio:

  • Work closely with the Director of Yachts to create standards for itinerary and service development to ensure that our content is consistent and reflective of our defined Kensington experience, inclusive of all individual product components (villa, tour, yacht and transfer characteristics).
  • Develop, refresh and maintain the villa itinerary portfolio; own the thoughtful assembly of services into carefully curated itineraries (product, content, pricing), considering themes and various client segments.
  • Develop, maintain and utilize supplier relationships to identify and facilitate destination and/or supplier driven promotional opportunities.
  • Measure KPI’s monthly to demonstrate progress and to develop monthly action plans.
Be the expert on the customer needs, market dynamics and competition for the Villa market:
  • Regularly conduct comparative analysis against competitors and identify and act on emerging trends and opportunities to provide input for strategic planning of product direction and features.
  • Ongoing product development and villa sourcing under the villa portfolio
Drive cross-functional alignment:
  • Collaborate and align with the other Product Directors to ensure product has standard consistency across the globe.
  • Lead sales round tables on a regular basis to collect essential “Voice of the Customer” feedback, glean product insights and identify opportunities within the current product portfolio.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of full-time employment with a villa company (sales, operations or procurement)
  • Understanding of the Villa Market/ Tours Market/Specialist Travel/Luxury Travel/Cultural Travel space an asset
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to build effective relationships with key stakeholders
  • Proven experience developing strategic roadmaps and using strategy frameworks and tools to support decision making for successful execution
  • Outstanding research and analytical capabilities, to maintain awareness of the market and competitors
  • Strong project management mindset and is hyper organized in approach in delivering and managing product portfolio
  • Demonstrated understanding of key industry suppliers (DMCs/Villa suppliers/villa owners)
  • Articulate, polished and professional with superior communication, presentation and reporting skills; able to influence and communicate effectively with all levels of management and external stakeholders
  • Able to plan, work autonomously and deliver on multiple time sensitive projects in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining a high degree of focus on quality and detail of work produced
  • Proven business acumen with a systematic and analytical approach to problem solving
  • Hands on with high energy, an entrepreneurial spirit and a positive attitude
