Job Description

The Cancer Drug Research Laboratory is located at the McGill University Health Center in Montreal. It trains students and post-doctoral fellows on novel strategies to improve the potency of anti-cancer drugs against refractory tumours.Poste et missionsApplications are invited for a post-doctoral fellowship in liquid and solid state NMR spectroscopy in the Cancer Drug Research Laboratory. Our institution facility is equipped with a 600 MHZ hyphenated NMR equipment (LC-NMR-MS). It also includes a 400 MHZ NMR for routine analysis and an X-ray diffractometer.The successful candidate will:

  • hold a PhD degree in NMR spectroscopy, bioanalytical chemistry, medicinal chemistry or similar field
  • demonstrate experience in NMR spectroscopy including small molecule analysis, HR-MAS, NMR metabolomics etc.
  • demonstrate scientific excellence
  • be able to work independently and participate creatively in many projects including structure identification, conformational analysis, metabolomics etc.
  • have very good to excellent oral and written communication skills.
