The chosen candidate will actively manage a portfolio of various private label cheese products and lead the execution of cross-functional projects related to the maintenance and market development of this same portfolio.In this role, the Product Manager will also work towards optimizing the performance of this product portfolio by recommending and leading improvement initiatives through collaboration with the Innovation, Category Revenue Management and Sales teams, as well as private label customers.How you will make contributions that matter:Analyse, manage and optimize a private label product portfolio and provide recommendations for continuous improvement in terms of product formulation, profitability and SKUs efficiency;Manage a wide range of product-related projects with a multidisciplinary team (Sales, R&D, Quality Assurance, Procurement, Operations, Supply Chain, Customers, etc…);Drive the launch of new products by following an established product launch process, within identified timelines, from business case to market;Work closely with the Innovation team to bring new private label product ideas to life, from product concept to market launch;Act as the technical expert in his/her assigned product categories;Perform other related tasks as assigned.You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:University degree in administration/management or a related field (MBA considered an asset);Minimum of 2-3 years experience as a Product Manager;Bilingualism (French and English) spoken and written is essential;Provide leadership, good organizational skills and ability to manage priorities in a rapidly changing business environment;Strong business sense, analytical skills and attention to detail;Strong project and time management skills with experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously;Ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority;Experience in the food and/or consumer products sector (an asset).We support and care for our employees and their families by providing:Competitive salariesAdvantageous corporate agreementsFull range of group insurance benefitsGroup retirement pension plan with employer contributionPurchase option of company stocksGroup RRSPHealth and wellness program in the workplaceAssistance program for employees and their familiesSaputo products at a discounted priceWe support employment equity.
