Thats why, we continue to follow the Public Health Agency of Canada’s recommendations closely.We remain close to you, while keeping our distance via Phone, Skype, Zoom or however you like.Take your ambitions to the next levelAre you an innovative System Administrator, interested in modern infrastructure management Do you believe that infrastructure should be managed in a seamless and cross-functional way with tools inspired by continuous development Do you have experience in Linux system administration and are familiar with modern development tools This position could be for you!Participate in the implementation of infrastructure component automation to deliver and provide infrastructure services to other groups of expert administrators using the teams preferred tools;Design solutions embodying the Infrastructure as Code (IaC) philosophy with a set of standardized tools around Ansible/TOWER, in a highly virtualized environment on an internal infrastructure;Work closely in teams with other high-calibre colleagues – share challenges in a collegial manner by addressing them in an environment that is open to technological change;Develop and support the automation tools and mechanisms offered by the infrastructure services in the context of projects or operational activities;Create, maintain and enhance the perpetual documentation of operations or projects;Train and assist colleagues in the development, improvement, and evolution of the automation achieved, whether in terms of new solutions, or improvements to existing solutions;Propose and participate in the development of innovative solutions that are open to new technologies;Participate in the reinforcement of security practices by keeping an eye on the quality and substance of implemented solutions;Participate in incident resolution from an IaC perspective by ensuring the stability of critical solutions supported by the Linux expert group;Participate in the evolution of technology by providing suggestions, advice, and expertise on both solutions and methods (standards and practices).When it just clicks!Does this sound like youBachelors degree in an appropriate discipline;Minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience;Experience in project delivery in large organizations and in Linux infrastructure administration;In-depth expertise with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 and 8;Expertise with Ansible and Python;Knowledge of:Ansible TOWER (asset);CI/CD tools: Jenkins and Artifactory (asset); Bitbucket/Git;Red Hat Satellite 6;modern virtualized environments (ESX-V, ESX-T);middleware basics: Java, WebSphere, WebLogic, Tomcat, JBoss, MQ;DBMS basics: Oracle, PostgreSQL;basic principles of microsegmentation.Cooperative and teamwork skills;Customer and action-oriented;Ability to stimulate innovation;Leader with a sense of responsibility (ownership);Focus on evolution and continuous learning;Open-minded to new ways of doing things;Sense of initiative;Communication with teams in French and English.
