IntroductionAs a Package Consultant at IBM, get ready to tackle numerous mission-critical company directives. You will use a mix of consultative skills, business knowledge, and technical expertise to effectively integrate packaged technology into our clients business environment and achieve business results.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesMain job responsibilities:

• Provide specific management expertise and act as a project leader for the team in which he/she works: work planning, effort estimation, resource allocation, comparisons with similar projects, etc., according to needs and imperatives;
• Supervise and participate in the realization of deliverables.
• Implement and enforce quality assurance mechanisms for the deliverables produced.
• Assist managers in making sound decisions regarding all aspects of the project.
• Act as a facilitator in team meetings and workshops.
• Participate in strategic decisions and development of new proposals.
• Facilitate and participate in setting up the center of expertise required for the implementation of the SAP solution with the client.
• Based on best practices in this area, set up operations to be ready for post-production support of future deliveries.
• Provide additional expertise in business practices (best practices), methodology framework and tools, templates, etc.

Required Technical and Professional ExpertiseThe qualifications required for the position include:

• Technical skills:

• Experience in developing and managing large SAP S/4 Development and non-SAP Development projects
• He/she has completed the deliverables related to the design, implementation and evolution of the operational solution.
• Experience in Safe Agile development process
• Experience in resource management of large multi-national team
• Ability to collaborate with functional and business teams
• Experience working with the public service/ government is an asset
• 10 years of experience in application development and/or maintenance and/or within the framework of an ERP system, including 5 years as a manager

• Business skills:

• Strong leadership skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic workplace
• Experience and in-depth knowledge of consulting practices and techniques
• A comprehensive understanding of best practices in the service industry
• Proven skills in customer management, customer relationship and project scope
• Excellent management skills and ability to deliver quality results with an aggressive schedule
• Effective coaching and knowledge of skills transfer
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• The ability to thrive in a team environment
• Fully Bilingual French and English (written and oral communication)
