Several clients contract Performance and Capacity Management reporting as a monthly deliverable for their Server infrastructure environment.The PCM team work alongside the Systems Administrators, Architects and client Executive management teams to develop and deliver a monthly PCM package that will pinpoint areas of concern that exceed established thresholds to allow the team to predict ahead of time when additonal or reduction in capacity resources will be required. Items that are typically monitored are CPU, Memory, IO, disk etc.... performance and usage to help determine the health of the environment.This team will extract data from monitoring tools such as Tivoli, Server Resource Management, Ansible Playbook scripts, ScienceLogic etc... The raw data is typically captured in 15 minute intervals for each device and the role of the PCM professional is to consolidate this data via excel macros and graphing to develop a client consumable reporting monthly package.The professional will highlight trends that are of concern to better assist the architects in their short and long term planning requirements.GTSCAPROMO2021Required Technical and Professional ExpertiseBilingual in English and French.Canadian Federal Government Security Clearance Level 2 - Secret.15 + years experience (Wintel administration) in installing, troubleshooting, supporting and maintaining Windows operating systems line of product.15 + years in Virtualization technology.15+ years (UNIX administration) in installing, troubleshooting, supporting and maintaining UNIX operating systems line of product.15 + of Advanced Excel reporting skill including macro building and maintance as well as graph building.10+ years of SRM (Server Resource Management) experience 5 + years of SciencLogic experience.Preferred Technical and Professional ExpertiseWindows Server 2012:Active Directory Domain Services.VMware Certified Professional (VCP5).VMware Certified Sales Professional (VSP).Citrix Certified Administrator for Citrix XenApps 6.5.Citrix Certified Administrator for Citrix XenDesktop 5.Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator.Linux Redhat.ITIL V3 Foundation Certified.Certificate in Business Continuity Management awareness.Redhat Ansible.Microsoft SCOM Powershell Scripting.Candidate should be versed in Cloud offerings by the various vendors that offer infrastructure solutions.
