Job descriptionSutton Plumbing and Heating Supplies Ltd., a family-owned and operated company since 1954, is currently looking for a Part-time Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our growing team. We are a leading supplier in our field, and are currently in expansion. If you are a hard-working, dedicated individual, and are looking for a new opportunity in a great company, please apply.The work shift would be from about 2:00 PM to 6:00PM, but their is room for flexibility here. The focus would mainly be centered around the shipping department, helping to prepare orders and load trucks for delivery the following day, and assisting with putting away stock. (français à suivre)Job Description and responsibilities

  • Packaging: Preparing orders, picking, packing, and shipping merchandise.
  • Assist with loading/unloading of trucks for deliveries and supplier pickups.
  • Receiving merchandise, checking delivery slips, and assisting with unloading as necessary.
  • Inspection and verification of incoming goods, record shortages, and rejection of damaged goods.
  • Maintaining inventory, organizing and placing stock on shelves, and keeping the work environment tidy.
  • Assist with loading/unloading of trucks for deliveries and supplier pickups.
Qualifications and skills;
  • Minimum 1 years of experience in a related field.
  • Computer literate.
  • Bilingual in French/English an asset.
  • Forklift certification an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and to learn at a rapid pace.
  • Strong leadership and excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge of plumbing materials an asset.

  • Cueillir les commandes, les empaqueter et les expédier.
  • Générer les bordereaux d’expédition.
  • Manipuler les documents.
  • Recevoir la marchandise ainsi que sa vérification et l’entré de donnés.
  • Accepter les retours de marchandises, inspecter et valider les informations.
  • Participer au maintien de l’entrepôt : niveau des stocks, propreté et organisation du matériel.
  • Assister au chargement et déchargement des véhicules de livraison.
Prérequis
  • Trois ans d’expérience dans un milieux connexe. (plomberie, entrepôt)
  • Bonne connaissance de l’informatique.
  • Bilingue (français/anglais).
  • Bonne capacité à communiquer.
  • Bonne capacité à gérer du volume.
  • Permis pour chariot élévateur un atout.
