Technical Implementation Specialists work closely with clients and internal teams and play a critical role in the success of the Professional Services team. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-starting and highly motivated team player with strong core technical and business analysis skills to join a well-established yet rapidly evolving company.The Technical Implementation Specialist will provide product recommendations, identify the best workflows, offer expertise for integration requirements and develop or set up sound technical solutions in a mission critical production environment. Specialists must be able to drive projects to completion by anticipating the needs of clients ensuring the alignment of internal and external teams focused on the project.Job Responsibilities

  • An independent self-starter becoming a subject matter expert providing technical consulting and product expertise to clients and internal teams enabling comprehensive solutions to be delivered to the market.
  • Understand simple to complex business requirements and design a technical solution to meet those needs.
  • Install, deploy or configure the suite of TS Imagine products. Integrate product solution with other systems.
  • Facilitate technical discussions and workshops for product deployment, project integrations and technical solutions for the suite of TS Imagine products.
  • Determine the scope of a project and provide accurate man-day estimates identifying the resources required to successfully complete projects on time.
  • Work with internal teams to finalise project timelines and milestones, document ongoing progress and highlight concerns in good time.
  • Ensure proactive communication to clients and internal staff, managing enhancement requirements and escalations.
  • Code technical solutions for integration, product extension and enhancements. Following established guidelines for deploying into a production environment.
  • Ensure Sales, Account Management, and Support teams have the appropriate technical information to sell and support TS Imagine product solutions including details of customised workflows or bespoke solutions.
  • Produce and manage client-facing and internal documentation.
  • Conduct implementation pilots and help clients envision the final solution.
  • Train new clients and internal teams on the essentials of TS Imagine systems to get them started on implementations.
  • Identify areas for process improvement within the Professional Services department and make recommendations to Management.
  • Produce high quality technical specifications and proposals.
  • Other duties as assigned by senior management.
Qualifications:Business Skills:
  • 2-3 Years Project Management / Implementation experience.
  • Demonstrable experience in Business Analysis.
  • Strong experience in dealing with clients in pre-sales, implementation and support roles.
  • Knowledge of financial markets, companies and products (Equity, Fixed Income, Credit, FX, Volatility, etc.).
Technical Skills:Good working knowledge of and experience with:
  • Linux RHEL or similar
  • MongoDB (or similar NOSQL)
  • Sybase ASE or similar RDBMS (MySQL/Oracle/Postgres)
  • Linux shell, Python, Perl, SQL, JavaScript
  • Working with and troubleshooting C#, Java processes
  • FIX, FIXML
  • REST, JSON
Additional Preferred Skills/Experience:
  • Real-time and batch data feeds
  • Messaging Queue Technologies: RabbitMQ or similar
  • Code Mgmt and Deployment: Bitbucket/GIT, Jira, Team City, Docker
Other Considerations:
  • International and domestic travel.
  • Must be willing and able to be flexible with hours of coverage.
