The company primarily focuses on Healthcare, Education, Retail and Networking & Telecom industries.www.altencalsoftlabs.comJob DescriptionThe Technical Project Manager is responsible for managing Software Concept Exploration (CEX) projects to successful and timely decision points from all stages of the project. This role contributes to the definition of project strategy and guides the project core team and sub teams to deliver on project objectives.Responsibilities -

  • Ensures that all prioritized MRL Software Concept Exploration (CEX) projects are delivered within the agreed scope, time, cost and quality;
  • Understands, communicates and manages project scope, risks and issues. Proactively logs project risks and issues; ensures proper risk mitigation and issue resolution plans are defined to avoid any project delays;
  • Responsible to track the progress of all important events, milestones and projects gates;
  • Gets all key players aligned & moving in a unified direction;
  • Obtains internal client approvals on all expected deliverables (project plan, change requests, acceptance documents, etc.);
  • Monitors projects progress and enables sponsors and stakeholders to have visibility and sufficient information to make the required decisions;
  • Communicates with development teams and cross-functional stakeholders on project related issues, status updates and metrics;
  • Reports successes, concerns and issues;
  • Creates, tracks and updates project plans;
  • Implements actions plans that are created for the duration of each project as appropriate and ensures that project activity meets agreed project objectives;
  • Tracks project benefits realisation and lessons learnt activities to feed into ongoing improvements.
Relevant Knowledge, skills and competencies –
  • Bachelors degree in engineering or computer sciences or related field required;
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the medical device industry;
  • Experience with regulated environment;
  • Experience to work in an Agile environment (Scrum) preferred;
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, drive progress and deliver high quality outcomes under pressure, working with teams in different time zones;
  • Ability to interact and lead different stakeholders in person and remotely over conference calls;
  • Ability to be flexible by adapting quickly to changing priorities;
  • Highly motivated, a self-starter;
  • Strong interpersonal, time management and problem solving skills;
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and commitment to quality;
  • Participate fully as a team member in building an atmosphere of openness, honesty, respect and cooperation and fun;
  • Visible, approachable, accountable and available;
  • Excellent written & spoken English essential;
  • Excellent team player.
