Baylis Medical is currently looking for a Time & Expense, AP Staff Processer. This is a 1 year contract role with a possibility of extension.OverviewTime & Expense, AP Staff Processer processes employee expenses daily, supplier invoices, prepares payments for suppliers and performs monthly accounting activities.Snapshot of Responsibilities:Process employee expenses daily in SAP ConcurInput supplier’s invoices verifying that merchandise received agrees with computerized records weekly basisPrepare cheques, wire payments and on-line payments on a weekly basisInput all other vendor invoices for services and non-inventory purchases weekly basisSave all Invoices received in the respective Share Point (SP) Location use Metadata to class the invoice accordinglyProcess all corporate credit card (CCC) reconciliation in SAP Concur and reconcile the Prepaid General Ledger (GL) for CCCPrepare credit applications for suppliers and respond to auditor confirmation requests for suppliersMonitor Accounts Payable listings monthly for issuesIdentify areas of weakness in the financial monitoring of the company and implement solutions to address these situations under the direction of the Accounting Team LeadWork with Accounting Team Lead to help prepare year end file for External auditorsAdhere to Corporate and Quality policies and proceduresContribute to the continuous improvement of Expense Reimbursement processOther duties as assignedWhat you bring to the team:Post-secondary education in accounting is preferred2-5 years of experience in the fieldOrganization and time management skillsProficient in MS OfficeGood teamwork attitude and interpersonal skills necessaryDetail Oriented, Take InitiativeGood Communication skillsExperience in Processing Employee expensesERP Experience a plusSAP Concur Knowledge is a plusWhat we have to offer:Smart commute options including complimentary shuttle from Kipling Station, and subsidized transit program.Flexible working hours that complement core business hours.One day off for volunteering, to give back to a charitable organization of your choice.Purposeful work that drives career development, with opportunities to learn and grow by way of on-site training, workshops, and lunch and learn sessions.Comprehensive total rewards package, including tuition reimbursement and lifestyle and health spending account.Well-being initiatives, including onsite gym facility and fitness classes (yoga and boot camp).Employee-friendly work environment, with opportunity to participate in employee-led clubs, organized sports teams, video games, foosball, ping pong, etc.About UsAt Baylis Medical, everyone works with a shared purpose: to improve the lives of people around the world.
