Job Description

In this role you will work with the Trademark Team to manage File Intake and help coordinate the day-to-day workflow.Given the pandemic, it is expected that the successful candidate will work from home until our offices have re-opened.Responsibilities.

  • Reviewing incoming TMO correspondence
  • Reviewing incoming correspondence from foreign associates and/or direct clients
  • Interacting with agents, lawyers and other staff
  • Sorting, prioritizing, and processing a high-volume and wide variety of work for the Toronto and Ottawa Trademark practice groups
  • Creating tasks in our electronic task management software
  • Directing inquiries and incoming e-mails to relevant parties
  • Other duties may be assigned or amended as required
Qualifications, competencies and experience.
  • One year of administrative or office experience.
  • Post-secondary education
  • A great team player with excellent attention to detail and a positive attitude
  • A strong ability to prioritize a large workload
  • Strong oral and written communication skills. This role is English essential.
  • Highly organized and proactive
  • High proficiency in MS Office and ability to learn new software and technology quickly
