We are also one of the largest buyers of fruit globally each year, and continue to enjoy strong growth in this emerging category in retail.The Role:The Transfer Coordinator is responsible for managing the scheduling and logistics of frozen fruit product transfers between facilities, warehouses, and distribution centers. This role ensures inventory accuracy, coordinates with logistics providers for timely deliveries, and maintains detailed records of all movements. The coordinator also ensures regulatory compliance, supports quality assurance, addresses transfer-related issues, and contributes to process improvements for greater operational efficiency.Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and schedule the transfer of frozen fruit products between packing facilities, warehouses, and distribution centers.
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate stock is available for transfer and distribution.
  • Communicate with logistics providers to arrange transportation and ensure timely delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records of all transfers, including quantities, destinations, and transportation details.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements related to the handling and transportation of frozen products.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure product integrity during transfers.
  • Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to transfers promptly.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on transfer activities and performance metrics.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency.
What Will You Bring:
  • Education: ​College diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor #39;s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.​
  • 2+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse operations, preferably in the food industry.
  • Proficiency in using logistics software (e.g., WMS, ERP systems) and Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyze data and generate performance or transfer reports.
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities to work with cross-functional teams and external logistics providers.
  • Problem-solving mindset to address and resolve transfer issues quickly.
