We are a team of 4 full-time team members and 2 part-time team members. Embodia was founded in October 2014 by a physiotherapist and an engineer. We are a proud, bootstrapped Canadian company that is now extending our reach into the US, Australia, and Europe.Job descriptionEmbodia is looking for a video editor to edit a range of video content including online courses, webinars, and exercises. This role requires gaining an in-depth knowledge of Embodia’s platform and community. Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro is required. Familiarity with a wide range of video editing practices and concepts is expected. Above all else, we are looking to work with someone with a deep desire to continue to learn and develop their skills while contributing to Embodia’s ecosystem.*This is a remote, contract position. The number of hours per hour may vary between 25-40 hours/week. It is expected that the successful candidate has the necessary equipment to work from home including high speed internet, a computer, and Adobe Premiere Pro.*Role & Responsibilities: *

• Professionally edit video content including live webinar recordings, pre-recorded courses, and exercises.

• Communicate with Embodia’s instructors and partners. This includes gathering video files, providing feedback on any content they record, guiding them on best videography practices, and editing their content.

• Updating Embodia’s training course for content creators that teaches them how to record content and properly set up their space for webinars.

• Plan, develop, and assist with creating promotional content for our website and social media

• Collaborate with other team members including a content writer and digital marketer as well as PT students.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• 1-2 years of experience is preferred but new graduates are welcome to apply.

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro is required.

• Familiarity with other editing software including After Effects is an added advantage.

• Familiarity or experience with videography is an added advantage.

• Independent and strong self management skills

• Excellent oral and written English communication skills
