Job Description

BMAD is a young company that is growing exponentially in a fast-moving environment. We produce a wide variety of AR & VR projects. We are mad about technology, we are mad about future reality and we are looking for creative people with the same enthusiasm for new technologies to join our team.You Will Be Responsible For

  • Lead the game production in your dedicated team across all phases of production
  • Work with the Game Producer to create and maintaining the game related documentations including
  • Liaison with the Production to ensure the game is produced according to the agreed vision
  • Manage your team daily tasks, back-logs, sprints, reviews, following our workflow and processes
  • Track all tasks for creating assets, code, and deliverables for a game to make sure it’s delivered on time per our game pipeline schedule and milestone deliveries
  • Liaise with the Production Manager to facilitate post-mortems, feedback sessions, and team gameplay sessions aimed at improving the game and ensuring quality
  • Liaise with the Production Manager to coordinate the quality assurance, certification, and translation processes of the games
  • Deliver games on time and on budget, by optimizing the team development process and performance
  • Research, play, and study Virtual Reality Games to stay up-to-date with market trends and competition
Essential Experience
  • 3+ years as a Project Manager, Production Coordinator, or Technical Coordinator within the wider gaming industry, i.e. anything from PC gaming to Virtual Reality content
  • Strong track-record of managing project teams with successful production of games or projects
  • Understanding VR game development, with focus on optimizing games for all platforms, both regarding file size and performance
  • Highly organized, experienced in running multiple projects and delivering to tight deadlines
  • Passionate in whatever you do and want to make a difference in the Gaming Industry
  • Experience with Unity
  • Exceptional English written and verbal communication skills
  • Leadership attitude
  • Excellent teamwork skills and ability to adapt
Desirable Experience
  • Video Games enthusiast
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and stay abreast of VR game trends and developments/standards
  • Good knowledge of Virtual Reality
  • Bilingual (French and English) is an asset
  • The role will be remote-based initially, but preference will be given for candidates who are in Montreal, Canada and/or who are able to relocate once our offices will re-open
  • Preference will be given for candidates with experience in developing Virtual Reality Games
