Job Description

Context:As part of various infrastructure update projects, CGI is looking for a Windows Systems Administrator to support one of our clients and ensure the proper functioning of production servers and application systems as well as data exchange systems. It provides technical support to customer users, monitoring and supporting the backup and storage infrastructure across all of our customer sites.Responsibilities:You will support the daily operations of the systems under his responsibility (Windows and / or Linux);You will start up Windows and / or Linux systems and ensure their backup and restoration;You will participate in various projects such as the implementation of tools and utilities, infrastructure optimization projects, systems evolution, etc .;You will ensure the security of information assets, in particular by managing authorizations, managing backup copies of data, managing protection and security software and managing user profiles;You will manage the storage systems;You will produce the operating methods policies and ensure their respect in collaboration with the operations and project management coordinator;Participate in the development, updating and execution of the disaster recovery plan that is part of the business continuity plan of the company;You will produce and keep up to date the documentation and operational and succession procedures;Performs tasks related to preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of computer systems, peripherals and office and networking software;You will keep the software and equipment of the computer park up to date, as well as their inventory.Requirements:College diploma in computer science;Minimum of three years of relevant experience;Proficiency in Microsoft Active Directory;Mastery of computer virtualization concepts;In-depth knowledge of Windows server platforms;In-depth knowledge of the System Center and WSUS suite;Database administration;Knowledge of the concepts of clustering and high availability;Knowledge of network concepts and architecture;Knowledge of IP telephony, IP FAX and mobile;Knowledge of network monitoring tools;Knowledge of the Microsoft® Office office suite;Ability to communicate in French, verbally and in writing;Knowledge of Microsoft® 365 (an asset);Knowledge of Cisco security technologies (an asset);Microsoft (MCP, MCSE or MCSA) and Linux certification (an asset)."Build your career with us.It is an extraordinary time to be in business.
