Job Description

Adecco is currently hiring for a full-time Production Assembler for our client, a well-established manufacturing company located in Ottawa, ON. In this role, you will be responsible for producing products through the manual assembly of individual components of varying sizes and configurations according to approved work instructions.   • Pay rate: $18.25/hour
  • Location: Ottawa, ON
  • Shifts: 8:00 AM-4:00 PM| Monday to Friday
  • Job type: Full-time | Temporary to Permanent

Job responsibilities include:
  • Producing final products through the manual assembly of individual components of varying sizes and configurations according to approved work instructions
  • Operating various production equipment including, but not limited to, standard hand tools, custom fixtures, and other customer specific tooling
  • Assembling customer cartridges of varying design and performing in- process inspection of goods as produced
  • Performing all duties keeping the precise nature in mind, within a controlled environment where temperature, humidity and contamination are closely monitored
  • Maintaining documentation according to Quality Management System
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent
  • Additional relevant technical training certificates and/or College diplomas will be considered an asset
  • Must have strong communication skills, both verbal and written in English
  • Ability to demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and resourcefulness
  • Must have good eyesight and hand / eye coordination
  • Ability to work with a diverse set of tasks and responsibilities
  • Must be comfortable working within a regulated environment
  • Must be a responsible, dependable individual with a strong work ethic
  • Laboratory safety and/or WHMIS training
  • Must be eligible to work and reside in Canada
