JobID: 2012Position Type:Transportation Department/Bus DriverDate Posted:6/10/2021Location:Prairie South School DivisionDate Available:09/01/2021Closing Date:06/24/2021Position Details: Drive the morning and afternoon route on days the students are in school.Route: Assiniboia #2 - pick up students within the Assiniboia Schools Catchment area.Position Type: PermanentStart Date: September 1, 2021Duties:The primary goal of a Bus Driver is the safe, efficient, and punctual transportation of students.Education & Qualifications:

  • Valid Class 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 driver’s licence with a School Bus Endorsement
  • A clean driver’s abstract as determined by the sole discretion of the Board
  • Satisfactory results from a medical examination in accordance with Board procedure and The Highway Traffic Act
  • Related training such as courses in first aid, defensive driving, or heavy equipment operation would be considered an asset
Wage:Rate of pay is determined by the route length.
