Candidates must be committed to historic Christian orthodoxy and be supportive to the religious traditions of Briercrest College and Seminary. All employees agree to sign a doctrinal statement and code of conduct. • Should have a sense of awareness and respect for, as well as enthusiasm towards, a variety of cultural backgrounds and ethics;
• Should be able to work effectively as part of the staff team to promote a school ethic which embraces strong accountability with regard to student attendance, the facilitation of student success and solid communication practices with parents;
• Would ideally be willing to engage in and invest in the students’ lives both within and outside of the classroom experience;
• Should openly profess a personal statement of Christian faith; should passionately live out their testimony within their personal and professional lives.
Qualifications:As outlined in the Education Act, 1995
• Bachelor of Education degree
• Must hold or be eligible for a Saskatchewan Professional A teacher certificate
