About the RoleReporting to the Purchaser you will assist in receiving and sending product to and from the plant, moving product around the plant, to the warehouse and storage yard and ensuring all product is safely and properly stored. You will assist the Purchaser in the flow and tracking of inventory to ensure all materials are properly received, utilized, and accounted for.What you’ll need:
  • Ability to work with the Purchaser on a day-to-day basis to prioritize needs and workflow.
  • Ability to receive materials by checking, recording, organizing, and storing material as it is received.
  • Ability to assist in preparing orders for shipment.
  • Ability to monitor inventory.
  • Ability to oversee unloading and loading of goods from trucks and route goods to appropriate storage areas.
  • Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
  • Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and team members.
  • Excellent time management skills, attention to detail and communication skills.
  • Forklift Certification – willing to train.
  • Flexibility to step in and help the production team.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs.
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Ability to pull a trailer.
