Job Description

Customer Service/ Front Desk ReceptionistWe are on the look out for a dynamic Customer Service Professional to join our team! We require someone to fill a Temporary (Maternity) Full-Time position, with the potential to become a permanent placement for the right person.Responsibilities and Duties: This position involves greeting clients in the clinic and on the telephone, booking and confirming appointments, performing cashier related functions including accepting payments, posting charges, balancing cash out and day end reports.Phone calls need to be properly recorded and often transferred if the calls require veterinary support. This person may also be asked to assist with ordering and inventory management, as well as unpacking/packing orders for shipping, and does require physical activity including regular walking, standing, bending, kneeling, or crouching and lifting boxes up to 45lbs. They will also be required to assist with end of day cleaning duties and any additional duties as required.Eligibility: Preference will be given to candidates with familiarity and experience with veterinary products; particularly large animal, experience in a Veterinary Clinic and/or with medical terminology.Customer service or hospitality experience is also an asset and they must be able to work independently and as part of the team.We are searching for someone who is self-motivated, friendly, punctual, and well versed (verbal and written English proficiency)as well as detail oriented with a sense of pride in quality work. We would like an individual that demonstrates problem solving skills, ability to prioritize workload, highly proficient computer skills with honesty and integrity being non-negotiable. They must have a full/unrestricted drivers license, must be at least 18 years of age and be legally able to work in Canada. Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-dimensional role within a highly demanding office environment are a definite asset and they need to possess a sense of challenge and adventure.Position specifics: Full-time, temporary (Maternity), opportunity to move to Full-Time, permanent after one year.   • Engage with clients in a friendly and professional manner while actively listening to their concerns
  • Offer support and solutions to customers in accordance with the company's customer service policies
