Like family, we support our staff to always do better.Skills and experience for the next step in your career.As the Crop Inputs Manager, you will be responsible for managing the development and operation of a profitable crop inputs business. This position will report to the General Manager and works closely with Customer Service Representatives and the facility staff to ensure that business is running efficiently. Your effective leadership skills will provide direction to sales and operational staff in the implementation and delivery of annual and seasonal plans.Your day to day activities will include:· Supporting the growth of the crop inputs business with existing customers and proactively seeking out new business opportunities with the Crop Inputs team· A hands on approach to the safe and efficient operation of the Seed Treater, Chemical, Fertilizer Sheds and Liquid Fertilizer site· Promoting P&H’s service programs· Monitoring market developments and updates to determine competitive price offerings· Assisting in developing annual plans & budgets· Coaching & mentoring customer service representatives· Management and application of credit and collection programsThe successful candidate should enter the position with the following qualifications:· Minimum 5 years in a crop input sales role· Diploma or Degree in agriculture or equivalent experience· Certified Crop Advisor, or P.
