Company descriptionWe are a Smoke Shop and Gas Bar located on Roseau River First Nation.Job descriptionPART TIME/ON-CALL CASHIER

  • With possibility for extension and increase in hours
  • Must be able to work most evenings and weekends
  • Located on Roseau River First Nation, Hwy 201, Ginew, MB
START
  • July 5th, 2021
PAY
  • Starting at $12/hour with the potential to increase
Qualifications
  • Some computer knowledge required
  • Ability to do heavy lifting (40 lbs.), long-standing periods, climbing, lifting, bending
  • Available or flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and/or holidays and on-call
  • Ability to work various shifts in a team-oriented environment or independently
  • Excellent customer service skills and an ability to communicate clearly and politely
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent time management and task completion
  • Ability to provide a proactive approach in customer service and problem-solving
  • Ability to function as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience is not necessary but an asset.
  • Manitoba Lottery Certificate is an asset. But will be required to achieve upon hiring.
Key Responsibilities
  • Upholds and complies with store standards and policies in all situations
  • Greets customers in a polite and friendly manner
  • Demonstrates superior customer service
  • Process cash register payments by cash, cheque, credit card, gift card, and debit
  • Wrap and place merchandise in bags
  • Balance and reconcile cash at end of the work shift
  • Maintain cleanliness of store
  • Stock various products within the store
  • Reliable and dependable
