Position STUDENT CLERKDepartment MOSSBANK HOME & AGROLocation MOSSBANKResponsibilities

Provide customer service to customers, by assisting customers, and providing information and product knowledge, which is maintained through being dependable for all shifts.
To provide a neat, clean and well merchandised sales floor area at all times.
Process customer transactions on the point of sales operation.
Dispense gasolines, diesel fuel and propane.
To perform interior/exterior housekeeping duties.
To be familiar with and adhere to Southland Co-op policies and procedures and also the guidelines for the Mossbank Branch.
To assist in general stock duties, including receiving and pricing of merchandise.
To operate and maintain equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
To achieve accurate cash balances and proper handling of cheque cashing and credit card procedures.
Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Ability to work a variety of shifts.
Positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, outgoing and energetic personality
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to solve problems.
Physically able to do heavy lifting, bending, kneeling.
Able to work outdoors.
Willingness to further knowledge through training.
Successfully pass pre-employment testing as per Southland’s Alcohol & Substance Policy.
