Westview Co-op is hiring a Sales Representative, Agro on a permanent full-time basis at our location in Eagle Hill, AB.Where you will live:Eagle Hill is located in Central Alberta within Mountain View County. Approximately 36 km southwest of Red Deer, is where you’ll find this quaint community. Eagle Hill is a popular area for backpacking, birding, and hiking with the moderately challenging route of Eagle Hill Trail nearby. What you’ll do:You will operate in a diverse and highly competitive retail environment and are responsible for driving sales and profitability. You will be responsible for working collaboratively others to grow business, and identify new business opportunities, while performing in alignment with our core values and brand:

• You will understand and follow Westview Co-op’s Health and Safety Program and promote a culture of safety

• You will provide world class service to our members and guests and living by our brand expectations through our “You’re at Home Here” motto
• You will partner closely with others to achieve sales results and goals and ensure guests receive expertise in various commodity lines
• You will be responsible for product knowledge and understanding of financial results
• You will continuously look for new ways to drive sales and grow market share
• You will travel across our trading area
• You will be responsible for other responsibilities/projects as needed

• You have Grade 12 or equivalent, with a preference for post-secondary education (business diploma or degree)
• You have 5-10 years of progressive sales experience and CCA or PAg designations are preferred (we welcome a combination of relevant experience and education)
• You have a Class 5 Drivers License
• You’re committed to ongoing development in the industry and relevant designations/knowledge (agronomy, chemical, seed, crop protection)
• You have strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills with strong attention to detail
• You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
• You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.

This position is based out of our location in Eagle Hill, though it may require on some occasions to travel and work at other locations as business needs arise. Hours for this position are dependent on operational requirements. Our Team Members receive competitive salaries, a comprehensive benefits package and an employer-contributed pension plan.
