We offer a competitive compensationpackage and are committed to promoting diversity, accessibility and inclusion.The OpportunityReporting to the Commissioner, Community & Planning Services, this role facilitates the confidentialadministration of the Commissioner’s communications and meetings and will also be a departmental lead forrecords management, work processes, financial and other information, as required.What you will do: What you will need:

  • Provide administrative support and coordination,
including confidential correspondence andscheduling, for the Commissioner and otherdepartmental managers as required.
  • Prepare, review for correctness, distribute and
coordinate meeting agendas and minutes includingmeetings of the Standing Committees pertaining tothe department and special purpose committees.
  • Set up meeting rooms for Standing Committee and
other meetings.
  • Develop and maintain the departmental files and
record keeping systems including electronic files,scanning, records retention, financial and personnelfiles.
  • Graduation from a two-year community
college program related to the positionrequirements, or equivalent.
  • Three to four years of progressively
responsible related experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently
problem-solve.
  • Demonstrated technological proficiency and
highly developed organizational,communication and inter-personal skills withthe ability to cope with competing demandsand multiple tasks

The annualizedcompensation range for this role is $56,871 – $66,958.
