We are looking for dynamic, team players who are interested in working in a remote wilderness location in between Revelstoke and Nakusp, BC!We are an evolving resort with many improvement projects on our list. We are searching for an experienced maintenance worker(s) with a trades background to assist in our development of the resort and grounds.We are looking for someone who wants the opportunity to evolve with our company.

Overview of Skills and Responsibilities:
  • Performs various resort repairs including, but not limited to, Mechanical, Plumbing, Drywall & Millwork repairs, Access Control, Pool and Spa equipment as experienced
  • Able to proficiently operate hand and power tools
  • Comfortable towing a trailer for materials required
  • Operation of heavy equipment and resort vehicles safely
  • Strong team player who can oversee project management of small- and large-scale plans
  • Ensure complete records of scheduled maintenance procedures and complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures, and standards
  • Support renovation/remodeling of buildings; repairs plaster and drywall; paints building structures
  • Support resort departments through communication and execution of requests
  • Report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; and properly store flammable materials
  • Assist with outside custodial duties such as snow removal as required
  • Conduct and complete other works relevant and required of the position
Qualifications
  • Required to have a well-rounded skill set in maintenance and renovation projects
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Able to efficiently organise tasks and projects including materials and sub trades as required
  • This is a hands-on position. Support from a multi talented team is available
  • Minimum class 5 drivers license required
  • Able to proficiently operate hand and power tools
  • Comfortable towing a trailer for materials required
  • Great communication skills required
