Job Description

Hello, Hope this email finds you well. We have received a new requirement with one of the ministries in New Brunswick, kindly find the details below:Note:

  • It is anticipated that the proposed resource(s) will be required to work in the Fredericton area based on an established schedule, such as 2 days a week or 2 days every other week during the engagement. The days required in Fredericton must be scheduled either with the Project Manager or Business Owner of the CRAVES Deployment Project to ensure alignment with the other team members #39; on-site dates and times. The successful candidate must be able to schedule a visit to 850 Lincoln Road, Fredericton office, with a day’s notice if required outside of the established schedule.
  • If travel within the province is required, SNB will pay for travel outside of the business area (Fredericton) as part of this assignment. Travel, meals, and lodging expenses will be reimbursed at the SNB employee travel rates.
  • If the proposed resource(s) are based outside of New Brunswick, the proposed resource(s) must reside in Canada, work can be completed remotely, and it is the vendor’s responsibility to pay for the employee’s travel time and costs to and from their place of business or home to New Brunswick if it’s required occasionally for the project purposes.
  • The proposed resource(s) must be available during SNB working hours, Monday through Friday, 8:15 AM through 4:30 PM AST.
  • If the employee is based outside of Fredericton, SNB reserves the right to solely grant or deny the ability to telework and any schedules related to teleworking.

  • Elicits, translates, validates, communicates, negotiates, develops, and manages requirements by applying proven effective techniques such as interviews with probing questions, walk-throughs, surveys, use cases, specifications, brainstorming, modelling, etc.
  • Facilitates and moderates the discovery sessions/workshops in the participation of both business and technical stakeholders to gather the business and functional requirements, finalize the requirements and manage the required approval for the design and development of the application.
  • Gathers and documents the business and functional requirements by leveraging critical thinking skill set and performing required coordination among the internal and external project stakeholders (i.e., PAS Business SMEs, SaaS Providers Technical SMEs, SMEs of different departments in GNB) and manages the requirements traceability matrix document throughout the project life cycle.
  • Identifies, defines, communicates, and negotiates for solutions, technical and business processes, procedural, etc. that will maximize the value delivered by the supported Application to the SNB PAS team.
  • Effectively translates technical issues so all project stakeholders can understand and make effective decisions.
  • Provides required support to the project manager to complete the work packages.
  • Performs comprehensive risk analysis for risk register and stakeholder analysis, including interdependencies.
  • Identifies project issues and documents and communicates with suggestions for resolution.
  • Produces and manages the project documentation in accordance with the agreed project template.
  • Follows the SNB Project Management Framework, agreed project governance approach and delivery strategy to ensure the delivery of the assigned project deliverables within time and scope.
  • Participation in the resolution of post-implementation defects and change requests associated with the PAS projects in scope for the engagement.
