Job Description

Flaman Group of Companies is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team in Nisku as Apprentice Technicians in either Heavy Equipment, Welding, Transport Trailer or Agricultural Equipment. Flaman believes in people working together, doing whats right to make a difference. We have a strong customer service focus, and we believe in building strong relationships with our customers.The Role:

  • Work safely and efficiently,
  • Problem Solving and Trouble Shooting,
  • Diagnosing electrical and mechanical issues,
  • Maintenance, weld/fabricate and repair of equipment,
  • Installation of accessories and equipment.

Who we are looking for
  • 2nd or 3rd year Apprentice in Heavy Equipment, Welding, Transport Trailer or Agricultural Equipment. Will train the right individuals,
  • Familiarity with mechanical and agricultural equipment (farm background would be an asset),
  • An eager, motivated attitude and work well with others,
  • A willingness to learn new things and to help other team members,
  • Great Work Ethic,
  • Must have own tools,
  • Service/Maintenance and basic welding Experience,
  • Strength to lift up 100 lbs. as required,
  • Strong Organizational and Communication Skills,
  • A valid class 5 drivers license.
