Job Description

We have a strong customer service focus and believe in making things better, one customer at a time.Primary Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Maintain excellent customer service
  • Use safe work practices to ensure safety of all staff, vendors and customers
  • Complete required paperwork according to company policies, procedures and protocols
  • Problem Solving and Trouble Shooting
  • Accurately prepare and complete purchase orders for supplies, materials and raw goods
  • Work closely with different departments, submitting approval requests and ensuring purchase orders are processed in a timely manner
  • Schedule incoming and outgoing stock shipments
  • Assist with orders that are direct shipped from vendors to other branches
  • Follow up with vendors on late, missing or damaged items
  • Maintain accurate records & department documentation, detailed record of purchases, including quantities, shipping information and costs
  • Handle returns and warranty claims
  • Assist with and monitor inventory, conducting visual inspections of inventory and frequent cycle counts
  • Other duties associated with purchasing and inventory as required
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Recognize the importance of establishing relationships with customers, vendors and co-workers to help provide a great customer experience
  • Certificate or Diploma in supply chain management or related education (preferred)
  • Experience in sourcing, purchasing and inventory
  • Familiarity with agricultural/trailer equipment (considered an asset)
  • Possess clerical skills and proficient with computers
  • Team player with a positive “can do” attitude
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities
  • Have a great work ethic and eager to learn new things
  • Excellent communication skills, phone, email and in person
  • Willingness to help out other team members
  • Ability to safely lift, push, pull or carry heavy products, up to 50lbs on your own
  • Valid Class 5 License and clean driver’s abstract
