Job Description

Are you a 3rd or 4th Class Power Engineer looking to get out of the plant and into the field We are ramping up for a busy season! While the projects are seasonal, there may be opportunities for great Operators to stay on full time.Responsibilities include:

  • Start up and shut down of boiler
  • Ensure the proper operation and functioning of the organization’s boilers and related equipment to provide a safe, healthy and comfortable working environment for all.
  • Perform regularly scheduled preventative maintenance on boilers and related machinery.
  • Conduct regular inspections of machinery and surrounding areas, making adjustments as required.
  • Maintain assigned area and equipment ensuring cleanliness and order at all times.
  • Continually work in a safe manner ensuring adherence to safe operating procedures, relevant health and safety legislation and other governing codes and regulations.
  • Due diligence and reporting as required
Candidates possess:
  • 3rd or 4th Class Power Engineer Ticket
  • First Aid, CSTS, H2S
  • Drivers License and Clean Abstract
  • Ability to travel in western Canada
  • Previous oilfield experience
  • Proven self-starter with the demonstrated ability to work well independently with little supervision and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and excellent troubleshooting skills required.
  • Able to work well under pressure while maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Excellent communication skills
