Job Description

Ledcor Employee Apply internally in Workday.DescriptionJob Summary:You are a knowledgeable Crane Operator that has experience working in an industrial shop setting. We are looking for Journeyman & Apprentice Crane Operators to support us in our Module Fabrication shop in Nisku, AB. The successful candidate will be responsible for working in accordance with government regulations, quality, safety, and efficiency standards.Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently and safely operate cranes of various sizes, including but not limited to 55, 60 and 80ton hydraulic rough terrain cranes.
  • Conduct pre-trip/walk-around safety inspections, completes Hazard Assessments, and logs and reports any maintenance concerns with equipment
  • Must have the ability to communicate well and work as part of a team with various construction trades.
  • Perform basic equipment maintenance
  • Fill out and understand an equipment logbook
  • Ensures the safety of the crew, equipment, and environment
  • Willingness to learn and be adaptable
Requirements:
  • Preferred 5 years+ experience operating a crane
  • Experience with working on a construction project in an industrial setting
  • Journeymen must possess a Red Seal certification with a recognized provincial training authority
  • Must successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing
  • Must possess valid CSTS
  • Vaccinations against COVID 19 are not required on site, however masks (provided by Ledcor) must be worn when social distancing is not possible
