Job Description

NCS Fluid Handling Systems is currently looking for multiple Field Technicians to provide services across our BC and Alberta locationsStart: ImmediateSchedule : Full timeWhat we offer:

Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Set up and operate specified tools and equipment, with assistance from Supervisor, Lead, or other support personnel.
  • Stay current in safety training and keep required certificates up to date.
  • Read production orders to verify quality standards for specifications, process and procedures.
  • Verify that vessels, procedures, and processes conform to applicable work instructions.
  • Monitor testing equipment operation and accuracy.
  • Complete necessary documentation for testing requirements and results.
  • Use overhead crane, hoists, or forklift, as necessary, to deliver product to area of next operation.
  • Assist in diagnosing vessel, equipment or tool problems and resolve, as necessary.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and calibration processes on specified tools and equipment.
  • Follow directions and perform tasks as assigned by Forepersons, Project Managers, Safety Manager or upper management.
  • Ensure that work, staging, and storage areas are safe and clean.
Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of the practices, methods, techniques, tools and equipment used in the performance of maintenance work as assigned.
  • Willing to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions.
  • Able to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to work extended shifts, out of town and weekend work, and overtime as required.
  • Experience with Hydro testing an asset.
  • Experience with filter pots preferred.
  • Valid CSTS 2020 is preferred
  • Valid WHMIS 2015 is preferred
  • Valid H2S Alive is preferred
Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $20.00-$28.00 per hourAdditional pay:
  • Overtime pay
Schedule:
  • 12 hour shift
Experience:
  • Field technician: 2 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
  • Drivers License Class 5 (required)
