We are currently looking to fill the position of: Finish Dozer Operator. In our fleet, we have everything from a D3 to a D9. Essential Skillsamp; Qualifications:

  • Proven Experience: At least 3-5 years operating a dozer in heavy civil construction projects—whether it’s excavating, grading, or moving large quantities of material, you’ve done it all and then some.
  • Know Your Machines: You can operate a dozer like it’s an extension of your own body. You’re familiar with different models (Caterpillar, John Deere, etc.) and can perform daily checks to keep your machine running smoothly.
  • Safety First: You take safety seriously and can follow safety protocols like a pro—whether it’s wearing PPE, performing machine inspections, or keeping an eye on job site hazards.
  • Physical Staminaamp; Endurance: You’re not afraid of working long hours in all kinds of weather, and you’re tough enough to handle the physical demands of the job.
  • Grade Controlamp; Precision: You can grade and level surfaces with pinpoint accuracy. Your eyes can spot a slight deviation in elevation from a mile away, and you’re great at reading site plans and stakes.
  • Team Player: You thrive in a team-oriented environment, knowing that collaboration is key to success. You’ve worked alongside foremen, other operators, and construction crews and know how to communicate effectively on-site.
  • Problem Solver: On the job, things don’t always go as planned. When challenges arise, you’ve got the know-how to adapt and find solutions on the fly, whether it’s a tough terrain or a last-minute project change.
Valid Certificationsamp; Tickets:
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
  • WHMIS and CSTS20 (or willing to get it).
  • Experience with GPS and machine control systems is a bonus.

Schedule:
  • 7am-6pm with 30-minute lunch.
  • 12 days on, 2 off (every second weekend off).
